PinIt does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

What we store

Only the text of responses and prompts you explicitly choose to pin. This data is saved locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local and never leaves your device. Uninstalling the extension removes all stored data.

What we don't do

Collect analytics or usage statistics
Track which pages you visit or what you type
Send any data to a remote server
Use cookies or fingerprinting
Share anything with third parties
Require an account or sign-in

Permissions explained

Permission	Why it's needed
storage	Save your pinned responses locally in the browser. Nothing is sent anywhere.
activeTab	Read the current Claude.ai tab so the extension can find and highlight pinned responses when you click "scroll to".
sidePanel	Open the PinIt sidebar panel where your pinned responses are listed.
tabs	Detect when you navigate to claude.ai so the sidebar stays in sync with the active conversation.
